Normandy Tennessee Winter Outing, February 3, 2024
February can be a great month to fish the Duck River near Normandy, Tennessee. Not all days, but many days, the river flow is low enough to wade and high enough to swing small streamers. Dale Hollow hatchery releases brood trout in generous quantities from time to time in addition to standard monthly stockings
The river is probably the easiest to wade of any river we fish. Reasonably close to Nashville and surrounding areas with excellent access and a gravelly bottom, make the fishing experience on the Duck a great experience.
